R404A is a hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant blend commonly used in commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. It is known for its high cooling capacity and is often used in low and medium temperature refrigeration applications, such as supermarket freezers and refrigerated transport. However, it has a relatively high global warming potential (GWP), and as a result, there has been a push to find more environmentally friendly alternatives. In some regions, regulations are in place to phase out the use of R404A in certain applications in favor of refrigerants with lower GWPs.

Unopened cylinders with intact tamper seals may be returned within 30 days; hazmat return freight is charged at cost.
Opened or partially charged cylinders cannot be returned for safety reasons. Damaged-in-transit cylinders are replaced at our cost — report within 48 hours.
