Ordering questions, answered
Do I need certification to order?+
Yes. HFC and HFO refrigerants require EPA Section 608 certification in the US (Section 609 for mobile A/C refrigerants). If you don't hold one, we email a purchase disclaimer form with your order confirmation which must be returned before dispatch.
How fast does an order ship?+
Stocked lines dispatch within one business day. Refrigerant travels by ground freight only, so domestic transit is normally 2–5 business days.
What's the difference between a disposable and refillable cylinder?+
Disposable cylinders are single-use and must be recovered to 0 psig before disposal. Refillable customer-owned cylinders — like our 5 kg R-290 and 850 g service cans — can be refilled indefinitely while in hydrostatic test date, which removes rental fees entirely.
Can you match a valve fitting to my machine?+
Yes. Our EU service cans ship with 7/16" UNF or 1/4" ACME LEFT valves; US bulk cylinders use standard CGA fittings. If you tell us your recovery machine model we'll confirm the fitting before dispatch.
Which lines are affected by phase-down rules?+
High-GWP blends such as R-404A (GWP 3922) and R-507A (GWP 3985) face the tightest restrictions. R-32 (675), R-449A (1397), R-1234yf (4) and R-290 (3) sit comfortably below current thresholds and are the usual retrofit targets.
Do you offer trade pricing?+
Yes — volume pricing, net terms and standing monthly orders are available for contractors. Send your certification and typical monthly usage and we'll set up an account.
What's your returns policy on gas?+
Unopened cylinders with intact tamper seals can be returned within 30 days; hazmat return freight is at cost. Opened or partially charged cylinders cannot be returned for safety reasons.
