Privacy policy
Last updated July 2026
This policy explains what information Frigore Refrigerants collects when you browse the catalog or place an order, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We sell to trade customers, so some of the data we hold is required by federal regulation rather than by us.
01Information we collect
We collect the information you give us directly when you create an order, request a quote, subscribe to restock alerts, or contact support.
- Contact details: name, business name, email address, phone number.
- Shipping and billing addresses, including delivery instructions.
- Certification records: EPA Section 608 or 609 certificate numbers and expiry, where required for the products ordered.
- Order history, cylinder serials and returns records.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type and pages viewed, collected automatically.
02How we use your information
We use your information to process and ship orders, verify that you are legally permitted to purchase regulated refrigerants, provide customer support, prevent fraud, and meet our record-keeping obligations.
With your consent we also send occasional product, restock and pricing updates. You can withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
03Payment information
We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. Payments are processed by our payment provider under PCI DSS controls, and we receive only a transaction reference and the last four digits of the card for reconciliation purposes.
04Sharing your information
We share information only where it is necessary to fulfil your order or comply with the law.
- Freight carriers and hazmat logistics partners, to deliver your cylinders.
- Payment processors, to take payment and handle refunds.
- Software providers who host our store, email and support tooling under confidentiality agreements.
- Regulators and law enforcement, where legally required.
05Data retention
Order, hazmat shipping and certification records are retained for a minimum of three years to satisfy DOT and EPA record-keeping requirements. Marketing contact data is deleted within 30 days of you unsubscribing.
06Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it by law. Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
07Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage to keep your cart contents between visits, remember your preferences, and understand how the catalog is used. Blocking cookies in your browser will still let you browse, but the cart will not persist between sessions.
08Security
All traffic to the store is encrypted in transit. Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it to fulfil orders or provide support, and administrative access is protected by multi-factor authentication.
09Changes and contact
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date at the top. For privacy requests, contact us through the contact page and mark your message 'Privacy request'.
